Second-shooting with Gav Harrison
Janine & Dan booked us after seeing us in action at Lauren & Chris' wedding a couple of years ago so I was looking forward to seeing them and some other familiar faces.
The day started, as usual with me at home with Dan and the boys, while Gav was accompanying Janine and the girls at Oulton Hall.
It all went smoothly until it came to doing the group shots after the ceremony, which is when it started to chuck down hail stones the size of golf balls (actually, that's what everyone says but they were more like the size of chick peas). Anyway, the downpour only lasted about 10 minutes, thankfully, so we managed to get everyone outside eventually.
As expected, we had a great time (and a fantastic 4-course meal, for which many thanks). I suspect that Janine and Dan had an even better time.

We first met Sian and Alaric at Debbie & David's wedding at The Inn On The Lake a couple of years ago (Sian is David's sister) so there were quite a few familiar faces present today. It's great when you get to work with the same families and see previous couples again.
It was our first time at The Mansion and, I have to say, it is a lovely venue and, with the fantastic Dine supplying the catering, it's well worth checking out if you are getting married in the Leeds area.
The weather was a touch on the nippy side but Sian & Alaric were happy to go for a wander into Roundhay Park for some photos. Unfortunately for the Welsh contingent present, although it was St David's day, the daffodils hadn't yet put in an appearance (except on the cake).
