Magazine Article: Hospitality & Leisure Design - Sept 2011 Issue
Earlier this year, I was at Rudding Park Hotel near Harrogate, photographing the new 40 bedroom Follifoot Wing for Gamma Illumination who supplied most of the lighting.

Rudding Park Wedding: Sonia & Andrew
Ceremony & Reception: Rudding Park Hotel, Harrogate, North Yorkshire
Blessing: Rudding Park Chapel
Small world, isn't it? Andrew, the groom, and most of his friends and family are from Wellingborough in Northamptonshire, just a few miles from where I grew up. It was nice to hear that East Midlands twang again!
I was hoping for better weather today. Rudding Park is such a beautiful venue, it would have been a shame if we hadn't been able to make the most of it. I needn't have worried. The sun shone most of the day, giving us the chance to take loads of outdoor shots of the happy couple.
Sonia and Andrew have been together for 14 years but you'd never guess it - they hardly took their eyes off each other all day!
The main ceremony took place in the drawing room of the house and this was followed by a blessing in the spectacular chapel, situated right nextdoor, so despite Sonia & Andrew not wanting any photos of their preparations, there were plenty of opportunities for some great shots.
A thoroughly enjoyable day for all concerned. Congratulations and best wishes to Sonia & Andrew, assuming they can take their eyes off each other for long enough to read this!
