Engagement Photographs | Aimee & Dan

Engagement Photos: Brimham Rocks, North Yorkshire

Aimee and Dan are a wonderful couple and, much to their surprise, very easy to photograph. Aimee is, like myself, originally from Northamptonshire (I don't often bump into fellow Cobblers up here in Yorkshire) and they both very laid back and have a great sense of humour.
Because their wedding is in October, we decided to do the engagement photos earlier in the year to take advantage of the better weather and we ended up spending a most enjoyable hour on a Sunday morning wandering round The National Trust's spectacular Brimham Rocks, near Harrogate. The views are amazing and the huge rocks have been eroded into beautiful shapes by thousands of years of Yorkshire weather, making it a fantastic place for photography with a variety of different types of landscape (moorland, woodland, panoramic vistas etc).
I'm really looking forward to Aimee and Dan's wedding in October at one of my favourite venues, The Devonshire Fell Hotel in the archetypal Yorkshire Dales village of Burnsall.
