Bagden Hall Wedding | Lisa & Jeremy

Groom's Preparations: Connie's Cafe, Horbury & at home, Middletown, Wakefield
Ceremony & Reception: Bagden Hall, Scissett, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire

Second-shooting with Gav Harrison

Another early start after a very late finish yesterday but I felt surprisingly alert and ready to go. This was, of course helped considerably by the offer of another bacon sandwich, this time at Connie's Café in Horbury, while the lads tucked into their Trucker's Breakfasts.

Back at home, and it all started to get a bit hectic and, for some reason, everyone seemed to want to get ready on the landing, which was quite interesting. I couldn't stop laughing at one point when Jeremy's Dad asked "How do I look?" and one of the lads answered "Like Toad of Toad Hall."

Once again, the weather was kind to us (phew!) and we got all the group photos done without a problem.

Lisa & Jeremy left a small gift on the tables for each of the guests (over 18s only, of course) - a small bottle of home-made sloe gin. It was fun to watch different people's reactions as they tried it. Unfortunately for me, most of them liked it, so no screwed up faces to photograph. Ah well!

The evening reception was very entertaining, particularly when Lisa's hens (#henerife....) invaded the dance floor, waving their knickers around and wearing them on their heads. Must be a Wakefield thing...

Congratulations to Lisa and Jeremy and thank you for choosing us to photograph your special day.
